Origin Of Techpak
Techpak Packaging was first established in 1990 by the brainchild and current director, Faseeg Isaacs, whose vision was to create a family-owned business in the carton manufacturing industry. Along with wife and co-director, Nasira Isaacs, Faseeg was able to turn his dream of starting a carton manufacturing company into a reality with initially the company starting off as a supplier and distributor of packaging products and second-hand cartons, until 2001 when Faseeg decided to extend its services to that of a manufacturer as he realised that there was a continuous demand and need for corrugated board and cartons.
Supplier Excellence Award
For its continuous efforts in trying to secure strong customer satisfaction, innovation and technological advancement in the industry, the company clinched the “service excellence” award in “manufacturing and producing cartons” according to customer requirements. Therefore, the company had to expand its parameters by increasing staff ratio and acquiring new premises, since the demand for orders had increased.
Meet The Team
Faseeg Isaacs – Founder and Director
Current director and founder, Faseeg Isaacs, qualified as an electromagnetic/pneumatics technician with a completed apprenticeship in packaging and machinery. Mr Isaacs has been involved in the packaging industry for more than 25 years where he started his career at Afcommercial (AFCOM). With the expertise and support of his wife and business partner, he has grown his company into a lucrative enterprise which encompasses impeccable client liaison and his motto “committed to service excellence” is evident to all of those who has had the privilege of dealing with him. Faseeg’s phenomenal success is derived from his dedication, determination and ability to corner the market with calculated but never irresponsible risk. In his current role, he heads the marketing and sales department and sees to all corporate clients.
Nasira Isaacs – Partner and co- director
Business partner, co- director and wife of Faseeg Isaacs. Nasira was the first financial manager where she played an integral role in managing the debtor’s and creditor’s accounts. She played a significant role in the background with an ability to juggle the areas of credit control with human resources making her an essential part of this lucrative business. All the success that the company received was due to the excellent management that Nasira established in the business. However, in 2009, Nasira decided to resign as financial manager and become a full-time parent to her youngest son. In 2020, her youngest son, Nasir, become the new financial manager.
Nasir Isaacs – Finance Manager
Head of Finance, Nasir manages all accounting related activities which includes being the debtor’s clerk and creditors clerk. Graduated in 2017 from the University of Cape Town (UCT), Nasir began his career in the private sector at an accounting firm as accountant trainee. He progressed further into an internal and external auditor during his time at this firm and decided after 2 years that he would join the family business. At the start of 2020, Nasir took over as the internal accountant and provides oversight over various functions within the company.
Miraaj Isaacs – Factory Supervisor and Warehouse Manager
Factory Supervisor and warehouse manager, Miraaj oversees all factory production. His role includes procuring all raw material as well everything required under the supply chain. Miraaj ensures that all finished products are checked before dispatch and handles all repairs and maintenance required for operations to continue.
Ramiz Isaacs – Head of Human Resources
Human resources and payroll administrator, Ramiz manages all administrative and labour related activities. He manages all employee related matters and makes sure that the company complies with all labour laws. He conducts all disciplinary actions, amends all company policies if needed and maintains the employee records.
